Unparalleled Location

You can’t go wrong with a hotel in a prime location and one of the standout features of Hotel Eventi is its location and proximity to so many restaurants, things to do, and places to see. Situated at on 6th Avenue, in the heart of Chelsea, this Kimpton property places you in the midst of Chelsea's artistic and culinary renaissance. If you’re not familiar with Chelsea, you should know it encompasses a rich history dating back to the early 19th century when it was primarily an industrial district. Over the years, it transformed into a hub for artists and creatives, with its iconic galleries and cultural institutions making it a renowned center for contemporary art and culture. And at this hotel, you're just steps away from renowned galleries, eclectic boutiques, and a culinary scene that delights every palate, not to mention, right outside my room was the empire state building!

food

L’Amico

Connected to the hotel, you’ll find The Vine, as well as L’Amico, both led by Executive Chef Laurent Tourondel. L’Amico, which was inspired by Tourondel's childhood boats a simple concept, with the hopes of making you feel as if you’ve been transported to Italy to a friends beautiful, quaint and farmhouse-modern home. with a menu offering breakfast lunch, dinner, and brunch, including everything from Scramble Cacio e Pepe, to Blackened Scallops, to Homemade Pizzas, Pastas and more, you’ll find something that will not only satisfy you, but leave you feeling nostalgic and full.

The Vine

The Vine is the place you go to for light bites, when you don’t have time to make any reservations, but want something a little filling and some good drinks before an eventful night out on the town. This place not only has a delicious cocktail menu, but an incredible design done by the team at Creme Design! I really enjoyed the OJOS VERDE cocktail and the overall ambiance fit right in with the essence of the hotel.

Skirt Steak

Located next door, Skirt Steak, also created by the prolific Laurent Tourondel is a rustic/modern restaurant that serves prix-fixe menu of skirt steak with Béarnaise sauce, field greens, and unlimited fries. Its one of those pleaces where you know the food will be good, and you don’t have to take too much time to figure out what you want. They also have great cocktails, and a dessert cart with an assortment of pastries and sweets!

art

As I mentioned , this hotel is located right in the heart of the historic and artistic neighborhood of Chelsea. I think my favorite thing about Eventi is how they've seamlessly woven this rich history into every facet of the hotel. Showcasing an expansive art collection that was curated by Kyle DeWoody, this hotel features art from renowned artists such as Augustus Thompson, Achraf Touloub, Lorna Simpson, Zoë Buckman, and many others throughout the rooms and main areas!

design

I was incredibly impressed with Eventi’s Interior Design and the size of the rooms! This hotel underwent a multimillion dollar renovation headed by Crème, a Brooklyn-based design firm. With its new look, the hotel has an upgraded exterior, with a black steel façade from 29th to 30th streets along Avenue of the Americas, and also included in the re-design is a new lobby, made to feel like a “comfy living room”. Tourondel also worked on the creation of The Vine lounge and L’Amicao. I’ve gone to NYC quite a bit, and I always feel the rooms need a little more space, but here, these apartment style guest rooms are quote large, giving you room to breathe and settle in should you want an extended stay. The suites all included gorgeous artwork, marble showers and sinks, wood floors, and modern sconces and funky pendant lights. The hotel offers the perfect mix of modernism, retro swank, and elegance for anyone to feel comfortable.

Exceptional Service

At Hotel Eventi Kimpton, service is not just a gesture; it's an art form. The attentive and friendly staff goes above and beyond to cater to your needs, ensuring your stay is as memorable as possible. Should you find yourself caught in the rain, they'll graciously provide you with an umbrella, and if you're in need of a taxi, their attentive staff is more than happy to assist you with that as well!

I truly enjoyed me stay at Hotel Eventi. The Kimpton brand has a knack for making its ‘collection of hotels feel bespoke and boutique. I can’t wait to come back for a staycation! Have you been? Let me know what you think! And if not, follow the link here and book a stay for yourself!
