I love it when I visit a coffee shop, and the coffee tastes as amazing as the ambiance looks and feels. Welcome to Refuge Coffee, brought to you by the creators of Refuge, Tongue Cut Sparrow, Anvil, Squabble, and other innovative, stylish, and delicious experiences!

Ambiance

Nestled in the charming old Penny Quarter space, (downstairs from Refuge The Bar, and behind Anvil) Refuge Coffee has become my go-to spot for countless workdays. They proudly serve coffee from Tenfold Coffee, providing the perfect blend of ambiance, flavor, and an authentic atmosphere for savoring a cup of joe, getting work done, enjoying a cocktail, or even doing all three! If you've read my previous blogs about Refuge, you'll know that I'm an eternal fan of everything crafted by the Thoroughfare Hospitality Group. They just get it!

The meticulous attention to detail in this space is truly remarkable. The combination of warm and natural light complements the gold and green accents and the lush greenery, creating a harmonious blend with the furniture.

While the menu may be modest, it captures the essence of a classic coffee shop experience. You can savor lattes, matchas, cortados, teas, (and my personal favorite, dirty chais) priced from $3-$6. Additionally, they offer an assortment of pastries that are made fresh daily. If you're in the mood for a drink drink; take your pick from their curated wine list, which changes seasonally, or enjoy classic cocktails like highballs, mules, espresso martinis, sours, and more, ranging from $8 to $12.

In classic Refuge style, you can even take the cocktail experience home with their pre-made bottled selections, featuring favorites like The Negroni, Bobby's Signature Martini, Old Fashions, and more.

Refuge Coffee boasts an incredibly dope and passionate staff who are as dedicated to crafting cocktails and coffee as they are to creating a welcoming atmosphere. Once you settle in, you'll find that time flies by, making it the ideal place to work, collaborate, unwind, and connect (The wifi is impeccable).
